Step back into one of the most turbulent chapters of Parisian history on this walking tour through the city under Nazi occupation. Beginning at the iconic Hôtel Lutetia, once requisitioned by German intelligence and later a repatriation center for survivors. You will explore how daily life unfolded in a city transformed by war. As you move through the historic streets of the Left Bank, across the storied Île de la Cité, and into the heart of the Marais, you will discover how ordinary Parisians navigated rationing, censorship, collaboration, and quiet defiance. Along the way, your guide will tell you the stories of courageous Resistance fighters who risked everything to oppose occupation, as well as the moral complexities that shaped this period. This tour not only retraces the geography of wartime Paris but also examines the lasting scars left by the Occupation, revealing how these years continue to shape France’s national memory today.
