Your Private Tour of Versailles
Your 5.5-hour day tour begins by meeting your guide in Paris. You will then head out to Versailles together, where you will begin your tour in the gardens. Your guide will weave you through hand-picked groves including Enceladus, the Colonnades, and the Ballroom, which will truly give you a real sense as to what the courtiers of Louis XIV, XV, and XVI would have experienced. Life in Versailles was not always silk and caviar. Seduction, scandal, poisoning, adultery, and treason became part of daily life and no tour of Versailles would be complete without delving into it! On Sundays in the spring and summer, the original fountains are even on! After the gardens, you will follow your guide into the State Apartments of the Palace. At The end of the tour, you may either stay in Versailles longer or be accompanied back to Paris by your guide.
